I have been using both the 99 Classics and the 12 Classics headphones from Meze for the last six months depending on the situation. For intense I love the 99 Classics for recording environment. First, they are closed headphones which make them very sweet. The most important though is the sound quality which makes them my favorite headphones for recording. I only use the 12 Classics on the road to listen to music, and also to listen to my mastering in High Resolution 24 bits 48kh. Honestly and without any pressure whatsoever I recommend these to everyone.
Some could call it Improvised Music, but what François creates is Spontaneous Melodic Abstract Music upon the roots of Free Jazz. Montrealer FRANÇOIS CARRIER has traveled the world to meet other musicians and record sessions. In the last few years only, he has released records with Dewey Redman, Mat Maneri, Jean-Jacques Avenel, Paul Bley, Gary Peacock, Bobo Stenson, John Edwards, Steve Beresford, Rafal Mazur and Russian pianist Alexey Lapin. His rich, deep playing that blends lyricism with boldness and a sense of surpassing one’s self, has earned him the 13th spot on DownBeat’s 2013 Best Alto Sax Players List.
